Michelle Hodges, PT, DPT, CSCS

Michelle Hodges has been a Physical Therapist Assistant for over 6 years and a certified
aquatic therapist for 4 years. Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Sport
Science and Psychology from the University of Utah before returning to school to pursue her
passion for the physical therapy field. Michelle graduated from Salt Lake Community College
with an Associate of Applied Science in the Physical Therapist Assistant program and has gone
on to pursue a speciality in aquatic therapy.

Michelle grew up in Wyoming which allowed her opportunities to participate in many different
activities. Her favorites include playing volleyball and horseback riding for pleasure and
competition. Michelle has been riding Missouri Fox Trotters almost her whole life but always
was nervous with horses because they are such a large animal. As she got older she slowly
became more comfortable and started showing a little in Junior High with model classes. It
wasn’t until College that she decided to take on the challenge of showing in the performance
classes. Michelle has had the opportunity to go and participate in the World Grand
Championships in Ava, MO. Michelle was able to win in the World Grand Champion Novice
class in 2011 and most recently the World Grand Champion Ametuer 3 year old in September
2015 and World Grand Champion Open Ametuer 4 year old in September 2016. Michelle feels
she has learned a tremendous amount about herself from her experiences participating in
sports and riding horses that have helped her both personally and in her career.

Michelle moved to Idaho Falls in 2015 when she married the love of her life and has enjoyed
Idaho and all it has to offer. Michelle and her husband are very excited to have a daughter
joining them July 2017.
